ACADEMY OF STUDENT PHARMACISTS

The mission of the APhA Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is to be the collective voice of student pharmacists, to provide opportunities for professional growth, to improve patient care, and to envision and advance the future of pharmacy. 

Here at UIC College of Pharmacy, our APhA-ASP chapter keeps this mission in mind in everything that we do. From holding health fairs where members can gain hands-on patient care experience to implementing events that serve to educate and advocate for the profession of pharmacy, we aim to create opportunities for pharmacy students to impact communities locally, nationally, and globally in ways that are both personally important to them and valuable to our patients. Because our organization is structured around many committees and operations that contribute different focuses to this shared goal, there is an abundance of opportunity for COP students to get involved, turn their unique ideas and perspectives into impact, gain leadership experience, and grow as a student pharmacists.
