VP of Finance and Fundraising
Jordan Montgomery
Hi everyone! I am excited to serve as the VP of Finance and Fundraising of APhA-ASP this year. My responsibilities include maintaining our budget, as well as working with other E-Board members to allocate the budget to APhA-ASP needs. I am also responsible for fundraising for APhA-ASP. My goal is to maintain our budget throughout the year, as well as to create a fundraising committee to bring in more funds for our organization.

Mashal Jiwani
Hi everyone! My name is Mashal Jiwani and I am the VP of Communications this year. My responsibilities include communicating our events through instagram and facebook along with organizing and sending out the weekly dose every week. I’m excited to use this opportunity to communicate with and get to know more of my peers at COP. I am excited to make our instagram page more interactive and get more students involved in APhA-ASP.
VP of Membership/Social
Kayley Sherwood
Hello everyone! My name is Kayley Sherwood and I will be the VP of Membership this year as well as the Social Chair. My responsibilities include documenting our organization's student memberships throughout the academic year. In the spring semester I am responsible for organizing our annual Patient Counseling Competition. I hope to improve engagement with APhA-ASP through some events throughout the Fall semester. VP of Policy
Sara Ganas
My name is Sara Ganas, and I am a P3 and serving as the VP of Policy and Legislation for APhA-ASP in the 2023-2024 school year. In my position, I work with the Jr VP to create policy resolutions to present to the Legislative Committee at APhA Midyear Regional and National meetings. Additionally, we organize different campaigns and speaker events to promote the pharmacy profession and highlight the significance of student advocacy. Looking forward to another great year with APhA-ASP!
Junior VP of Policy
Nancy Giang
Hi everyone! I’m Nancy Giang, and I am serving as the Junior VP of Health Legislation. I work alongside Sara Ganas, the Senior VP of Health Legislation! In my role, I assist our team in raising awareness of the importance of pharmacist participation and consultation in health policy creation. Alex Wierzbiak
Hi! My name is Alex Wierzbiak and I am the VP of Patient Care for the 2023-24 school year. I work with each of the operation chairs to make sure they have the resources they need to succeed in their roles and reach as many student pharmacists as possible. After serving as the Operation SUD chair last year, I recognize the importance of outreach and education in the field of pharmacy. I look forward to another great year!
Operation OTC Med
Jacqueline Tomecki
Hello everyone! My name is Jacqueline and I am the Operation OTC Medication Safety Chair for 2023-2024. My position is about educating our community on the safe practices using OTC medications and raising awareness on the adverse reactions that they may cause. I believe it is important to educate on OTCs because they are easily accessible and can be used for self-treatment. Furthermore, I am excited to plan events within our community and spread awareness on OTC medication safety. I am very excited and humbled to be a part of APhA-ASP’s executive board and looking forward to a great year!
Operation Heart
Jessica Helwig
Hi! I’m Jessica and I am the 2023-2024 Operation Heart Chair. I look forward to advocating for cardiovascular health and educating our community on ways to decrease their risk. As the vice chair last year, I was able to help organize presentations where students and faculty were able to discuss many aspects of CV health. Moving forward, I feel prepared to host events on campus and will try to bring back off-campus health fairs! I am excited to be a part of eboard and collaborating with other Operation Chairs!
Operation Diabetes
Amber Vu
Hi everyone! My name is Amber Vu and I am the Chair of Diabetes for the 2023-2024 school year. My main responsibility is to raise awareness of diabetes. I also recognize the importance of discussing how student pharmacists and pharmacists can promote prevention and treatments available for diabetes. I am looking forward to conducting blood glucose screening events and health fairs in collaboration with other organizations. Operation Immunization
Grace McGee
Hi everyone! My name is Grace McGee and I am the operations immunizations chair for the school year. My position is all about educating fellow pharmacy students and the general public about the importance of immunizations. I specifically focus on providing pharmacy students with updates to the CDC's immunization guidelines, so they stay knowledgeable about how to administer vaccinations to avoid errors. For the community, the focus is to dispel any myths associated with vaccines to encourage the general public to get any and all necessary vaccines.
Operation Substance Use Disorder
Lexi Terris
Hi! I’m Lexi and I am the 2023-2024 Operation Substance Use Disorder Chair. The purpose of Operation SUD is to raise awareness, educate the community, and support individuals who are affected by substance use disorder. After serving as the operation’s vice chair last year, I am prepared to transition into this new role and become even more involved. This year I plan to hold events, including naloxone training, and information sessions to raise awareness about substance use disorder. I am excited to be a part of eboard and look forward to collaborating with my fellow members.
Operation Self Care
Joy Lee
Hi! I am Joy Lee, and I am the 2023-2024 Operation Self Care Chair. I am looking forward to encouraging self-care to both the pharmacy student and the community. I recognize the importance of bringing awareness and educating individuals to focus on both mental and physical health. This will include diet, exercise, sleep, relaxation, and social well-being. I am excited to present to help and remind individuals to have a balanced life with improved life-long habits.
Operation Lung Health
Madeline Tolwinski
Hello everyone! My name is Madeline Tolwinski and I am the Operation Lung Health Chair for the 2023-2024 school year. My position focuses on advocating for and promoting lung health within our community. I’l be organizing initiatives and educational events to shed light on various respiratory conditions and the importance of looking after our lungs. I’m also diving into smoking cessation efforts, supporting those who are on their journey to quit smoking, the number one cause of lung cancer. I am very excited to be part of the E-board and am looking forward to collaborating on projects!

Hi everyone! I am Nathickshi Chandrasegar and I am the P1 Liaison for 2023-2024. My goal as a P1 liaison is to promote the mission of APhA-ASP and educate my peers about the different opportunities and events that the organization has to offer.
